Enrolments

General

Enrolments are welcome for students living in the Mission Heights Primary School home zone at all Year levels.

Zoning

Students must live in the school zone for a minimum of one school year from their starting date.

Please note that Mission Heights Primary School’s zone is different to Mission Heights Junior College in some areas as both schools are independent of each other.

We regret that no out of zone enrolments will be accepted until further notice. Please call the school office on (09) 277 7888 to confirm you are in the school zone before proceeding with the enrolment and to confirm which documents are required to show proof of address.

Intakes

There are two intakes each term for students who turn 5 in order to ensure a smooth, well prepared transition to school. Children starting school age 5 need to be toilet trained – we do not have the staff or facilities to change nappies. The only exception to this is where students have additional needs and Ministry of Education funding.

Term 1

Intake 1 : Tuesday 4th February
Intake 2 : Tuesday 11th March. Visits on Tuesday 25th Feb & Tues 4th March.

Term 2

Intake 1 : Tuesday 29th April. Visits on Tuesday 25th March & Tuesday 1st April.
Intake 2 : Tuesday 3rd June. Visits on Tuesday 20th May & Tuesday 27th May.

Term 3

Intake 1 : Tuesday 15th July. Visits on Tuesday 10th June & Tuesday 17th June.
Intake 2 : Tuesday 19th August. Visits on Tuesday 5th August & Tuesday 12th August.

Term 4

Intake 1 : Tuesday 7th October. Visits on Tuesday 2th September & Tuesday 9th September
Intake 2 : Tuesday 11th November. Visits on Tuesday 28th October and Tuesday 4th November.
